Scholarship program has awarded more than $1.14 million to female college students pursuing commercial real estate careers

Lawrence, Kansas, USA – Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Network Foundation has selected 25 female college students to receive a total of $125,000 USD in scholarships for the 2021-22 academic year. CREW Network Foundation’s scholarship program has awarded $1,147,500 USD to 196 female students at 99 universities across 36 states/provinces in the U.S. and Canada since 2008.

The scholarship program supports future female leaders as they pursue university-level education that will lead to careers in commercial real estate. Each student will receive $5,000 USD (or the Canadian dollar equivalent) for tuition and books, a paid internship opportunity, a complimentary 18-month CREW Network student membership, and a complimentary registration to the 2021 CREW Network Convention, Sept. 28-30 in Las Vegas, Nevada, and held virtually.

“On behalf of our CREW Network Foundation leaders and supporters, it is a privilege and an honor to introduce the talented students who have been selected as our 2021 scholarship recipients,” said Jeanette Flory-Sagan, Founder and CEO of Cereus Asset Services, and 2021 CREW Network Foundation Chair. “In addition to the scholarship’s financial support, CREW Network’s global network will provide these women the opportunity to connect with industry experts and mentors, develop critical leadership skills, and gain knowledge and training that will open doors as they begin their careers upon graduation. These are the future leaders of our industry.”

Scholarship funds come from the Linda Hollemon Scholarship Endowment and personal, CREW Network chapter and corporate contributions.
